South Denver Metro:
Treehive Chiropractic - Nervous system based chiropractic care that supports optimal brain development and growth for individuals and families. Brain Blossom programming coming soon (see below).
Student Defense Alliance - Helps students to obtain legal support when experiencing discriminatory actions in school systems to stop the school-to-prison pipeline.
The Third Place for Kids - An inclusive sensory focused community center that offering an indoor playground, birthday parties and provider access for therapy sessions to ensure all families have a place to belong in the community.
Developmental Pathways - Focuses on care coordination for individuals and families, navigating disability services, including early intervention, by connecting them to public and private funding resources and service providers.
Across Colorado:
Parent to Parent of Colorado - A parent-led community that offers peer support for families of children with disabilities to help them feel "informed, understood and connected" to the community.
Peak Parent Center (PTI) - helps parents receive appropriate education and services for their children with disabilities, works to improve education results for all children, trains and informs parents and professionals and connects children with disabilities to resources that address their needs.
Colorado Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) - Youth and Transition Services for students heading toward employment after graduation.
CDE Office of Special Education - Provides Colorado specific guidance and information related to "special education issues, practices and resources" for families of children with disabilities.
Nationwide:
Brain Blossom Program - A multi-pillar program that includes brain-based games and exercises to support individuals with "learning, behavioral, socialization and developmental challenges" offered by FOCUS certified providers
Challen Education & Transition Services - Offers transition assessment, planning and consultation for teens, college students and young adults as they plan for "meaningful, individualized futures."
